Q1) Do you take a lot of photos? Do you visit many places or just visit one or two places? Do you like making new friends while traveling? What kind of activities do you like? Are you interested in bungee jumping or paragliding? Tell me about everything for your trip.

[Ans] I often take a photo of scenary, not selfies. But my wife like to take a lot of photos. So my wife usually takes a picture of me.

In the past, I prefer to visit many places as possible. But it is getting tired because I am getting aged. So now, I usually visit only one or two places in a trip.

I think I am not outgoing person. But I don't like to be alone. So I usually go travel with my friends or family. And I rarely talk with the people who I don't know.

I thought I like to enjoy extreme activity, So I wanted to go to bungee jumping in the past. But, when I went to 6-flags in Los Angeles, I realized It's hard for me to take roller coaster. I took many roller coasters with my friends in a row, then I felt like vomiting. So now, I don't want to go bungee jumping.

 

Q2) What are the things you do to prepare for a trip? Why those things are important for you? Do you do something for your travel companion (동행)?

[Ans] Since I am a person with a plan, I always prepare the schedule like where I visit, when I leave for the next attraction, and what I eat, something like that. So I think my travel companion has only to follow me.

 

Q3) What are some difficulties we can have while traveling? Is traveling abroad more difficult? Can we prepare for those difficulties beforehand(사전에)?

[Ans] I think currency exchange is one of difficulties while traveling. I am scared that I may lose my money or someone may steal my money if I exchange money a lot. On the other hand, I am also scared of shortage of money if I exchange money a little. So I prefer to use the credit card while traveling.

 

Q4) Tell me about your most memorable trip. If you can't think of one, please tell me about your first trip abroad.

[Ans] The most memorable trip in my life is my honeymoon in Bali, Indonesia. I went to Bali this August. Every people didn't wear a mask in Bali while most people wore a mask in Korea. So I felt I'm free from coronavirus. Anyway, I and my wife really enjoyed snorkeling, delicious food, and beautiful scenary in Bali. It was awesome experience.

You know what? I got coronavirus when I got back home, Korea.

 

Q5) How is traveling today different from the past? What are some difficulties people go through regarding trips? Has traveling become more difficult in any way? If so, tell me why.

[Ans] I think to go to traveling is easier than before. In the past, I cannot access internet while traveling because I didn't have a smartphone. So I had to carry the tour guide book of the area, and kinds of tickets such as a train ticket or airplane ticket. It bothered me.

But now, I easily look for hot places using my smartphone. And I don't need carry the paper ticket! Everything is in the smartphone! But one thing makes me difficult. This is too much information. For example, It is really hard to choose only one restaurant to visit.
