Q1) Tell me what you have done so far to get a job. If you already have a job, tell me about the things you do to get promoted or be more competitive at work.

[Ans] I have a job now. I work at Samsung Electronics as a software engineer based on 5G wireless communications. I always make an effort to study 5G standard specifications, and requirements of network operators such as Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and so on. So It's really important for me to study English.

 

Q2) What is an industry or a company you are intersted in? Is it the industry you want to work for? If it is not, why are you intersted in it?

[Ans] I have worked as a software engineer for 8 years. So I am interested in software industry. And now I co-work with Google because Google is our customer. So I want to move to Google later. I think Samsung is good company for workers, but Google is the best company for software engineers.

 

Q3) Let's keep talking about the industry you are interested in. Is there any difficulty that industry is facing?

[Ans] Software industry has grown for a (데)decade. In my opinion, one of the most reason is because FED(Federal Reserve System) loosed a lot of money, and the bunch of money flowed stock market especially NASDAQ. so software industry has grown up a lot. but now, FED is lifting interest rates, so I think software industry will face the difficulty because stock price is decreasing.

Q4) What do people do to prepare for a job? What do they do after they get a job? Do they go to school? Do they get training at the company?

[Ans] When people prepare(프리페~어) for a job, they make an effort to keep high GPA, and study to get a high mark at authorized(어ㅆㅓ롸이즡) english test like OPIc or TOEIC speaking. but many company prefer to experienced employee. So there is a saying like this on the internet, "How can I get a career if all company hire experienced people!" Anyway, after they get a job, we don't need this kinds of certificates (썰티피캩) anymore. they have to learn(러~ㄴ) real work at the company.
