Q1) Let's talk about typical restaurants in your country. What kinds of food do they sell? How much is a meal for one person? 

[Ans] There are really many kinds of restaurants in Korea. Most typical restaurants is Korean restaurant. They sell boiled rice, bulgogi, grilled pork belly, kimchi stew, soybean paste stew, and so on. (and the like) A meal for one person is average ten-thousand won. It is about 6 dollars because one dollar is 14 hundreds won.

 

Q2) Let's talk about typical restaurants in your country. Do you eat on a chair or do you eat sitting on a floor? Do you have a take-out restaurant or delivery service? What is it like?

[Ans] I prefer eating on a chair. Some Korean restaurant only serve a table on a floor. So people have to eat sitting on a floor in that kinds of restaurant. But restaurant are more and more serving a table with chairs. Korea is heaven of delivery service. When you visit any cities in Korea, You can get delivery service everywhere. All the restaurants which serve food delivery also serve take-out foods. But for me, I prefer to get food to go because delivery fee isn't cheap and I like to walk.

Q3) How do you order when you eat out?  Which one do you prefer, ordering at a kiosk or ordering face-to-face? What is that?

[Ans] I'm actually not such outgoing person. so I prefer to use a kiosk when I order foods. and these days, Korea undergo lack of people to work because younger people have decresed than before. so many stores are installing a kiosk.

Q4) If you have to recommend only one food of Korea to your foreign friend, what would you choose? Why is that?

[Ans] Um, I want to recommend grilled Korean beef, 한우 if the friend isn't vegan. It is really juicy and tender, and the texture is awesome. Oh, I want to eat now. 한우 is quite expensive in Korea, so Korean often eat 한우 in special day. I guarantee you are going to love it.

 

Q5) What is the biggest difference of restaurants to day compared to restaurants in the past? It can be atmosphere, menu items, or how employees serve.

[Ans] I think today's restaurant more focuses on advertising with internet than before. In the past, we don't have internet, so restaurants tended to focus on the taste of food. But now, we really use internet and social media a lot. It's inevitable for restaurant to advertise their food on the internet. For example, they make effort to increase the rating in google.

Q6) How do busy working people usually get their meals during weekdays? Do they order food or go to restaurants? What do they usually do?

[Ans] Big companys usually have their restaurant in the company, and provide meals to employees. So in this case, busy people always use the restaurant in the company. But if there is no restaurant in the company, busy people usually order their meals by delivery service. They can easily order the meals by using deliver apps. We really live in good world.
