[가정법 if] 과거시제의 정확한 활용의 중요성

현재에 대한 가정을 말할때는 would/could를 써야 하고, if절에서는 과거시제를 써야 한다.

 

1. It would be really great if the weather was always like today.
   It would be really great if the weather was always as good as today.
   I really wish the weather was always like today.
   >> 날씨가 항상 오늘 같았으면 진짜 좋겠다.
   
   
2. If only the weather was like today all the time,
   There would be nothing more that I would like than to have weather like this(today) every day.
   >> 날씨가 항상 오늘만 같았으면 소원이 없겠다.
   
   
3. How great would it be if we could have weather like this all the time.
   How great would it be if the weather was like today all the time.
   How great would it be if the weather was as good as today every day.
   >>날씨가 항상 오늘 같으면 얼마나 좋을까?
